Feb 25, 2026Erica Schultz has me hooked to the story, while the artists made it hard to look away from the pages. I can’t wait to see where this goes because so far, it’s been an absolute thrill. Read Full Review

Feb 25, 2026Rogue’s solo story is setting up to be more than just a detour. As changes to both her powers and revelations about her past begin to surface slowly throughout the issue. Erica Schultz’s characterization of Rogue has been excellent, especially when combined with the artwork by Luigi Zagaria, which is able to capture the chaos of shapeshifting and power-stealing at the same time. Feb 25, 2026Rogue #2 has some really great action sequences, meticulously drawn by Luigi Zagaria and beautifully colored by Espen Grundetjern, the standout being Rogue’s powers malfunctioning resulting in her taking on different forms and abilities in rapid succession. Apart from these riveting action scenes, the tension surrounding Mystique withholding information from Rogue makes for some great character moments between a mother doing what she believes is best for her daughter, and Rogue, who just wants some answers regarding the visions that have been troubling her. Erica Schultz has a steady handle on Rogue’s voice and appears to have a solid grasp of who the character is and what makes her unique. Read Full Review

Feb 28, 2026I’m looking forward to the next issue, especially after John Stelton’s vengeful claim to make Rogue pay; how will he do that? Also, let’s not forget that Rogue is still snake hunting, trying to find Constrictor, so I’m intrigued to understand what answers Rogue will get from him. A good issue overall, continuing to be fun and keep me on my toes as the reader with its change in pacing. Read Full Review

Erica Schultz perfectly captured the essence of Rogue and masterfully developed the story. The action scenes are very well done, especially when Rogue's powers became unstable, utilizing Mystique's metamorphic abilities. The art is also in sync with the writing and remains exceptional, especially in this second edition.
