Runaways is a solid bet for anyone looking to dive away from Secret Invasion and into a pool of less serious and possibly better content. While I won't stick with the monthlies (and I do know how bad this is for the industry), I'll think about picking up the trades. That says a lot for a book in times as economically trying as these. Think before you buy, but if you're on the fence then I can only reccommend you make the purchase. It's decent. Read Full Review

and feel it is inappropriate for the feel of the series. The sheer amount of exaggeration creates an air of silliness and childish antics. Runaways has always been much deeper than this and the artists have always recognized this. But Ramos style seems dead set on making the bug-eyed Runaways as silly looking as possible.
