Moment of brilliance are often tempered with duller moments in this issue, creating an uneven read that is saved by the quality of the art and the colorization. A nice read, yet this book could gain a bit more focus and it would be a better experience. Read Full Review
"Secret Avengers" #13 isn't the easiest comic to grasp without having seen past issues, although the first page recap largely brings readers up to date. Nonetheless, it is most definitely a more down-to-earth Avengers comic for those who might be getting tired of all of the space-faring, epic-scope event stories that have dominated other Avengers comics. I do love Taskmaster but this comic just takes all the wrong risks. Like Mockingbird being trapped inside AIM for this long is dumb and what was the point of War Machine and Hulk becoming Secret Avengers if they don’t do anything?
