The writing is awfully abrupt. For 4 pages the comic can switch 4 locations and skip a whole lot of time without any explanations and transitions... I'm not exaggerating... Plus this series had too many flashbacks with Marc's childhood. Do I care? Should I even care? I'm not here for Moon Knight, I'm here for Shadowland. That's what makes a bad tie-in. When I was reading the Colleen Wing one, I didn't feel like I needed to be familiar with her background much. All in all, it has something good in it, but barely enough to be better, than nothing. It's not bad in an annoying way, it's just poorly executed and pretty uninteresting.
