(Cover Date: November, 1969) Summary: Yarro Gort flies Shalla Bal to Earth to prove that the Silver Surfer is dead. After rescuing a policeman & jumper falling off a bridge & then being met with suspicion from the crowd, SS disguises himself in clothes to try to learn the reason for men's distrust. SS decides to go to a South American country at war. He is taken in by a young woman who helped him escape some soldiers but who is later arrested. SS fights against the soldiers to rescue the woman. Shalla Bal sees the woman giving SS a kiss of gratitude on the scanner. Yorro Gort reminds her that if SS has forsaken her, then she belongs to him.
