This issue brings together my two favorite Spider people who have more in common with one another than they think. Burdened by their super powers and having family members willing to sacrifice themselves for them, they bond and empathize with each other as they discuss feelings and conflicts they have about being a superhero. I love how this issue acknowledges the similarities and differences between Earth 65 and Earth 616, while simultaneously bringing them together. Read Full Review
I'm normally not a big fan of crossovers, but so far, "Sitting in a Tree" has been a real treat. Now let's see if that kiss happens next issue so I can officially start using #TeamGwiles on everything. Read Full Review
Radioactive Spider-Gwen #16 does its part in giving this crossover a good start, and acknowledges Gwen's loneliness that, to fans, reads as the series addressing the type of friendship Gwen's been missing " the type that Miles has with Ganke. It will be interesting to see how much Miles helps Gwen in facing Matt Murdock, or whether that plot will be progressed or altogether resolved. I hope for the latter; it would be great to see the duo work together to overcome the ninjas and Daredevil who are so clearly superior to them right now, but we'll see how much ground we're intended to cover here. Miles and Spider-Gwen were bound to have fun chemistry, but the story has some interesting elements though, and that's the best track we can ask for right now. Read Full Review
With its focus on building a connection between Miles and Gwen instead of multiverses and annoying supervillains,Spider-Gwen#16 is superior to the opening chapter of the “Sittin' in a Tree” crossover. The final night club scene also ups the intrigue as Robbi Rodriguez and Rico Renzi continue to (web) sling out the cool visuals. Read Full Review
Although it's another solid installment in this crossover and series, how they're telling the story could leave some readers frustrated. Read Full Review
A fun team-up story lands with a strong emotional impact due to some great chemistry and character beats between the protagonists. Read Full Review
This issue is carried by the chemistry between Gwen and Miles, and Robbi Rodriquez' art. The character moments here are well done, as we see Gwen's loneliness alleviated by having Miles there. I'm not a fan of the Spider-Gwen universe, but this was a good book.
