With power comes responsibility. But Gwen Stacy didn't heed OB's warning. Now, her powers are growing, and her friends are frightened for her. Perhaps they're scared of her. But no one is more terrified than Gwen is in Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider #3. A bonus multipage installment of a serial about a brawl across the multiverse featuring Deadpool, Wolverine, and excessive facial hair makes this a Can't-Miss issue! Read Full Review

Something I really enjoyed was seeing Gwen in such a vulnerable space and having her see her dad come to her to comfort her. While it's been known that she misses her life back on her former universe, it was heart wrenching to see how much she truly missed her dad. It was beautifully handled by Stephanie Phillips. With each installment, the writing shows just how talented a writer Phillips is. There's so many complex factors in this run, and they're all handled gracefully and with ease. Read Full Review

This third issue feels like the strongest of the series so far, giving us some nice emotional moments with Gwen as she "reunites" with her father and struggles with fumbling the ball while in the field. Read Full Review

Good issue. A little frustrating to see Gwen recognizing that EVERYONE is telling her not to do what she's doing, even an agent in charge of her exact situation who knows the consequences is ignored, and she does it anyway. I'm not saying it's unrealistic for a kid to think they know it all and put their own impulses over common sense, but it doesn't make it less annoying. Interesting direction they're going with Chameleon, a historically weak villain. Not a book I push to the front of the pile in the week it comes out, but a good book nonetheless.
