Um... That was... weird... I consider myself a fan of Morlun, but this was just weird. It was basically the Last Hunt, but instead of Kraven there was some Vladimir Kravinoff... Not Aleksey? Weird... But anyway, he almost buried Spider-Man in a grave filled with spiders, but Morlun came and literally killed the son of Kraven by sucking his life off... And he literally didn't even care about Spidey, because totemic spider energy of Kraven's son was fresh and better... Nah, it's pretty bad. 2 pages of Morlun in the 7 page story. Isn't it cool? And for some reason they decided to put Smythe's Spider-Slayers in the "origin" comic strip instead of Morlun... I guess that's because Morlun's origin was still a mystery back then... It was what... 2008? But anyway, at least the "funny" comic strip in the end was not that bad. more
