Since this issue they printed information about all these artists and writers. Yeah, some of them like Michael Lark or Brian Reed are real stars (even if that was a first comic for Brian Reed, who made stories for Ultimate Spider-Man, Web of Shadows, MUA 2 and Friend or Foe games, but after this comic he did many comics for Marvel, especially about Miss... Marvel). However, I've found it really amusing to read Jason Miller's introduction. It was his first outing as a comic book writer. "He hopes you like it, and he hopes that it leads to more work. Dear God, please let it lead to more work". And LOL, I decided to check was there more work after this comic or not. Well, Marvel Wiki shows only "1 work(s) that "Jason Miller" wrote", this exact issue. That's SOOOO freaking hilarious, because the story wasn't even bad and had a nice reference to the Amazing Spider-Man #1. The artist of this story isn't luckier, he had 2 works for Marvel and one of them was in Tangled Web years ago. Well... I liked him more there, maybe it's colorist who made his art more generic and boring.
Honestly, the first story really carries this issue. It's kinda similar to the one about the Evil Bar we saw in Tangled Web, especially the "twist" part, but it's good in it's own way. More Electro for you! And a nice Spider-Man vs Hulk battle on TV. Yet, I think it's still too naive to think Electro really could suggest every Spider-Man's move in the right order, but the story wouldn't exist at all without that, so... I can bear with it. more
