Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch have learned of the existence of a new and dangerous Spirit! An entity called THE SPIRIT OF VIOLENCE - but as the entity targets the Ghost Riders and those closest to them, will anyone be able to stand in its path? AND WILL THEY SURVIVE?!
A brutal, grief-soaked chapter that digs into what Ghost Rider's legacy truly costs, even if the pacing sputters. Still, the emotional stakes are rising, the violence is vicious, and the ghosts of the past are tightening their grip. This isn't a clean chapter, but it is a haunting one. Read Full Review
I want to like this a lot more than I do. I'm a huge Ghost Rider fan and a story like this appeals to me. But the execution isn't it for me. I'm not a fan of the art and the writing is a little off. The stuff with Danny and his sister was ok. Not great, but fine. I like Fantasma but there isn't much here for her to do. I'm not a fan of Robbie and this issue did nothing to change that. This book is ok, there's some stuff I like. Danny's sister and Roxanne getting brought into it is good. But this feels like a low effort book.
Oh that cover! The fact that it's dead serious and not intentional parody is just beautiful.
