In short; Star Lord #8 lies somewhere between decent and good enough entertainment to justify a look if you're a fan of any of the characters represented here.  I don't personally have those connections, therefore, the emotional impact playing out on the pages just didn't hit me at my empty core. The premise just didn't pull me into the book like I initially thought it would. I'm a big starkat fan, but this 3 issue second arc offered nothing. A story any of us could have thought up and if anything I'm less excited about the couple's future now that I've seen how boring they can be. I hope the main GoG books builds on the relationship where this one did nothing other than leave them where they already were (albeit not engaged)
