I really enjoyed this issue and the cliffhanger has me very invested in seeing what happens next. I'm happy with the fast pace the series keeps; I know it might feel like it doesn't have enough breathing room at times but I think it's found a nice balance and this arc seems like it's going to give everything the amount of attention it deserves by the end. We're getting close to the finale of this story's first phase, leaving me both excited and nervous, but I'm confident this team won't let me down. Read Full Review
It's a decent issue that sets up what's to come in this arc but I again just wish for more downtime and character time rather than the constant push of events and motion that these first ten issues have been. Read Full Review
Its hard to tell what fate has in store for Keeve aboard the Nihil Fleet. She is no longer undercover and at the mercy of the pirates. The other Jedi are on their way, but will it be in time? Read Full Review
High Republic is now moving a little too quickly for its own good, but the character remain endlessly interesting, so it's still great fodder for Star Wars fans who enjoy exploring the era. Read Full Review
Enjoyable issue. After reading some of the High Republic novels, I finally have a visual for Lourna Dee! Not the image I had in mind and I certainly did not think she would be, what appears to be, a Twi'lek. Still good to have her in the comics. There are only a few names in the High Republic era that I think have potential to become big and that have stay power, Lourna is definitely one of them. Good issue over all. Surprising that Myarga was killed off so suddenly. I did not see that coming. I am curious what impact that will have down the line between the Nihl and the Hutts, one can only imagine inevitable conflict between the two. The ending certainly left me wanting more. Look forward to issue 11.
nice writing from Cav as usual, high republic stuff in general has definitely benefitted from being mapped out super well. really interested in seeing where this arc goes from here
