Mar 11, 2026This is another solid issue. Murewa Ayodele continues to craft a story befitting of Ororo Monroe’s character. I got a little bogged down in the discussion with the sisters during the heavy exposition, but it is nice to read some familiar locations and name drops, particularly those outside of the traditional X-Men lore. I can’t wait to see where this creative team takes this story from here as it continues to build upon the lore of one of the world’s favorite X-Men. Read Full Review

Mar 11, 2026This is another masterfully crafted issue in a run that X-Men fans, Storm fans, and comic book fans in general should not miss out on. Series writer Murewa Ayodele’s love and passion for the character of Storm is apparent in every issue, with the creative team of Federica Mancin, Javier Tartaglia, and Travis Lanham firing on all cylinders to put together a highly polished piece of work that is a masterclass in visual storytelling. Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant #2 brings us one step closer to an inevitable confrontation between Storm and Akujin. Despite Wanda Maximoff’s appeals for caution, Storm is prepared to fight this war no matter the risk or cost. Read Full Review

Mar 17, 2026Issue #1 last month wasn't my favorite what so ever, but at least that issue set up quite a bit of scenarios with some sort of action. Be it that it was super scattered and out of order, but it had aspects of a comic book. I feel like this issue capitalized on zero of those scenarios that were set up. Wanda "training" Storm in the opening pages was the closest thing to entertainment this book had to offer. Read Full Review

The bad art makes this issue unreadable. I tried, but gave up halfway through. What is Marvel even thinking? If you want great female characters like Storm at the forefront of your franchise, you have to put in some effort and hire the best artist possible. Just compare this series to DC's Wonder Woman (which I'm not reading since I'm not interested in that character, but which looks top-notch), and you know what I mean.
