  (Cover Date: August, 1987) C&D: 7.0 DS: 7.0 Summary #1: Exterminators spray a poison gas at night to kill an infestation of rats. In his waking dream, Tyrone talks with the disguised Nightmare who wants him to bring Dr. Strange into his dark dimension. Cloak scares a group of people away from their abandoned church who are meeting to express their concerns to an official about the spraying. Cloak & Dagger hear the screams of boys being attacked by rats & follow the kidnapped ones into Vermin's underground lair. After Vermin threatens to kill the kids, Cloak envelopes him in his cloak, but then releases him after sympathizing with his plight. When Vermin begins to flood the chamber, Cloak envelopes the kidnapped kids & Dagger in his cloak to escape to safety. Summary #2: Strange & Rintrah go to Kamar-Tai to ask Jigme to lead them to the lamasery. Jigme declines to help them until Strange convinces him that he is the Sorcerer Supreme. They are attacked by an elemental force along the way, & Jigme is mortally injured after falling off of a cliff. Valkyrie comes to claim him, but Strange refuses to let her have him. Valkyrie offers him the help of some of the Defenders, & Strange reluctantly lets Valkyrie have him. In a blinding snowstorm, Valkyrie then leads them to the Ancient One's lamasery. more
