  (Cover Date: September, 1987) C&D: 7.0 DS: 7.0 Summary C&D: A girl enters the confessional in the abandoned church where C&D reside. She talks about her boyfriend who stole the experimental Opti-Link & has turned to a life of crime. After listening in, Dagger convinces Cloak that they should try to reform Zapper than destroy him. Zapper & his gang rob armored car guards. After Zapper hits Dagger with his optic beams, Cloak engulfs him in his cloak, & Zapper is shown what his future life may be like. Zapper decides to turn himself in to the police & do his time so that he can be with his girlfriend. Summary DS: Strange & Rintrah enter the lamasery to find a young female tourist sitting by a fire. When Strange shows her his old roo m, the "girl" reveals herself to be Erlik Khan, who is no longer bound by the talismans that Strange destroyed. Strange's spells don't work on him as he is battered by Khan. Strange summons the New Defenders to come to his aid. Khan then disappears while telling Strange his transformation to evil is almost complete. Rintrah holds the body of the girl, saying he doesn't remember anything. Valkyrie tells Strange that she died many days ago. more
