(Cover Date: June, 1970) Summary: After Loki disrupts Odin's spell which imprisoned him, Surtur, the God of Fire, moves toward Asgard, intending to destroy it. Thor & his warriors attempt to stop Surtur from advancing on the city. Balder goes to retrieve Odin from the Sea of Eternal Night, where he was sent by Loki after he gained the Odinring. With his great power, Odin entombs Surtur in the bowels of the earth once again.
