At some point readers just have to accept that Humphries was never going to have enough space to properly wrap up his run given where the previous issue left off. It's disappointing that so much is left hanging and the villains were practically forgotten by the end. But at least Humphries was able to end his run with a big bang of a final scene. Thus ends Humphries' Ultimates reign. His legacy is one of entertainment, the kind you almost had to toss your brain out of a moving car in order to enjoy, but entertainment nonetheless. However its sins were many and this issue's no different, going out with a bang but the best of a sorry bunch. Hopefully Josh Fialkov can find a way to turn things around, otherwise this title may be one injured Dog that's best put out of its misery. Read Full Review
This issue was a bit of a bummer. I'm normally a fan of Sam Humphries work, but I felt this last issue was a bit rushed and not that exciting. On the awesome side of things, Matt Milla's color work is great, and I'm loving the Wonder Man design here. I really wish this team had a little bit more time to roll with this incredibly large and epic story.Overall, I do not recommend this issue. Read Full Review
