(Cover Date: July, 1987) Summary: After Havok has nightmares about the X-Men, he goes to NYC to determine whether the X-Men are in trouble. After he leaves, Polaris is assaulted by the Marauders who intend to kill her. Havok finds the X-Men in the Morlock Tunnels, & after a brief skirmish, he finds out they plan to fake their deaths & had wiped his mind previously to keep it a secret from him. Polaris defeats the Marauders & reveals that she is actually their teammate, Malice, who has possessed her.
