(Cover Date: December, 1987) Summary: In the Yellowstone mountains of Wyoming, "Naze" tells Storm about the nature & motivations of the Adversary. Mystique tells Rogue about Destiny's premonition that the X-Men will die in Dallas. Dazzler shows off her light powers at a club, which doesn't make Wolverine happy. Longshot & Havok rescue a woman from being kidnapped by a group of punks. Storm climbs the mountain that Forge is on & fights off demons. After reaching the summit, she stabs Forge with her knife. Forge says that he was trying to close the gate, not open it. As the demons renew their attack, Storm & Forge fall off the peak & are drawn into the gateway.
