(Cover Date: May, 1988) Summary: The cyborg Reavers rob a bank in Singapore, killing indiscriminately, & kidnap the bank's financial manager. They are teleported back to their base in Australia by the mutant Gateway, who has been coerced into aiding them. The X-Men arrive on the scene & make short work of them. Three Reavers manage to escape using Gateway. Roma, who notified the X-Men about the Reavers, then appears. After some discussion among the group, the Reavers are offered the choice of facing Wolverine or going through the Siege Perilous. They all choose the latter. Roma returns the kidnapped woman back to Singapore. Roma offers them the Siege Perilous, but they decline, intent to continue following Xavier's dream. Roma indicates more
