Summary: Peter is a substitute teacher at his former high school, Midtown High, where he meets Steve Petty, a student who is a lot like he was in high school. When Petty sends the improved Living Brain after his anatagonist Jake to teach him a lesson, Spidey gets into an intense battle with the formidable robot. Meanwhile, in an authoritarian South American country, a ruthless death squad leader is picked to become the new Tarantula to assassinate rebels residing in the USA.
