Jul 05, 2008Overall, this book gets 3 out of 5 for story and 4 out of 5 for artwork. I really do suggest you go out and pick this book up, especially if you are a Kitty and/or Logan fan. But even if you just like good, clean and fun comics, this is definitely one for you! Read Full Review

This issue takes a little longer to be fun than the last one, but it is still pretty wholesome and fun overall. Kitty becoming an cat-person in knight armour was certainly interesting. I like how all the animal-people are drawn in these comics too, they are quite well-realized here without ever feeling too ridiculous, which is no small feat. The Man-Beast is pretty boring, though, and the ending with him killing a disposable character felt a little cliche and just there to work Logan up a bit.
Meanwhile Logan having his berserker rage removed only to immediately run away in the face of dangers was a unique story beat, too. Yet at the end of the comic the High Evolutionary tries to pull a Wizard of Oz and say he only removed the more+ Like • Comment
