I must admit, I hated the Adam X character before this issue, and I still do. He's everything wrong with the 90s. Nicieza made me care about him just a little bit more. Really great and wholesome issue, really loved Philip here too. 90s X-Men art has a horrible rep, but this was easily that era's prime. Terry Dodson, Roger Cruz, Carlos Pacheco, Joe Madueira, Andy Kubert, and Steve Epting were all delivering phenomenal art throughout the X-books
