A pretty fun opening with Rogue and Magneto battling Sentinels. This story arc kind of feels like it drags on and on and on a bit, though, with nowhere to really go story-wise. It feels like we're kind of stalling out for the end a bit at this point. Onslaught still has a great presence as a villain, at least. Seeing him torment X-Man reminded me how big he can feel. There's some good writing with Xavier reconciling with his actions a little bit.

Onslaught story arc has lost a lot of steam. I don't love what is being done with Eric. Claremont wrote a perfect Magneto redemption arc through years of writing and character growth. Most of that development was erased near the beginning of Lobdell's run, and now Lobdell is doing his own Magneto redemption arc but through a mindwipe instead of actual character development. Still, Captain America was written well this issue
