What's a tween girl assassin to do once she's locked up? Start running all the gangs in the joint, of course! After the surviving the brutal pecking order of middle school, Hit-Girl finds jail just might be a little more up her alley. Meanwhile, Kick-Ass starts learning there's more to life than just superhero work.
Solid issue that shows some actual progress in story because the first two issues really didn't do much rather than explore Dave's personal life which isn't as interesting as when he puts on the mask. In the case of Dave, his most redeeming moment in this issue was that Dave gets a slight boost in confidence in response to how cool his real self is compared to Kick-Ass, which is something you'd think would have been realized long ago. Mark Millar has proven with the three prior story arcs that his collaboration with John Romita Jr. is dynamite! As the proverbial seeds are being sown, we must prepare for what will no doubt be an intense and satisfying conclusion to the Kick-Ass story. Read Full Review
