    The manner in which Deadpool's origin and motivation are just dumped into the readers' laps in issue #11 is inelegant, but Lapham deserves credit for delivering a story with lasting emotional impact. Any comedic offerings in this episode are characteristically dead on arrival, but, as this is the first book that has shown promise in this series, you should check it out, so long as you've been following along thus far.
