Violence explodes as Metzger and his Nazis search for the Beast-Folk that inhabit the island, but it is just the prelude to a much bigger war that looms ahead. Meanwhile, Zeller discovers the true nature of evil as he and the others make a shocking discovery.
I enjoyed all aspects of The Army of Dr. Moreau #3. The balance of adventurer exploits with glimpses into the wildly brutal experiments being conducted by Nazi lunatics is ideal. Im interested to see where this story will go. Issue #4 promises to be very significant in the way of advancing the narrative, and the team of heroes will have a lot to consider as they take their next steps into the belly of the beast. The series may be on the third issue, but the other brilliant thing about Monkey Brain's platform is that you can catch up at any time and for a fraction of the cost of a print comic. For three bucks you're getting twice the content of a single issue and trust me, this story is worth it. I might be a weirdo for really like The Island of Dr. Moreau stuff, but even if you just like good stories it's worth the purchase. Read Full Review
