Biker Mice From Mars is a great ride! I love what Melissa Flores is doing with this cast of characters. Themes like the community vs the individual create some heartfelt moments. The artwork is tasked with making things fast and wild and it nails it! Beautiful colors and radical sound effect lettering make this a roaring success! Read Full Review

I only learned that this book is based on an old animated show I have never heard of after reading issue 1, which unfortunately diminished my enthusiasm somewhat, since I cannot credit Flores and the artists for all the originality and creativity I first saw in the book. Having said that, this series still offers a lot of both. Plus, reinvigorating a franchise is an achievement in its own right. The book feels very fresh and modern. The dialogue has a natural flow and the art is just amazingly detailed. There are some calmer scenes that could have been depicted in a more interesting way, but that's just a minor issue. Overall, Biker Mice from Mars 2 is a lot of fun and much better executed than the bulk of Marvel or DC books these days.
