Lean, ghostly pale, and permanently grim-faced, Kriss has always been an outsider in his small village. He's a war orphan, torn from his true father -- King Erikk Iron Tooth of Darkovia in the far north. When his only friend, Anja, loses her mother to a wild sabercat ravaging the village, Kriss determines to bring it down. But the creature is no mere animal. It has come down from the north with a gift for Kriss -- one that could make his wildest dreams come true.
Kriss #1 is a great and engaging read full of dark and mythical imagery, combined with an interesting coming of age story. It's definitely worth checking out and I highly recommend it. Read Full Review
To sum up, Kriss: The Gift Of Wrath isn't the type of comic that I would purchase standardly, but in the case of those looking for a mythic affair of blood and carnage, give this one a look. There is a great core and it is worth a buy for any Nordic history buff or for those who just like a world with a bit of dourness to it. Read Full Review
