The first arc of Letter 44 comes to a close: new life arrives in deep space, the crew of the Clarke learn important truths about the reason the aliens have come to our solar system, and President Blades teaches his enemies what it truly means to go up against the President of the United States.
This was a good week for comics, at least for me, and Letter 44 was one of the reasons for it. This is the best series Oni is publishing right now and it has fierce in-house competition. The Sixth Gun alone is enough to give it a run for its money, but then there's The Auteur as well. I'm pointing both of these out because I still think that Letter 44 is the best comic Oni is publishing. Check it out, even if you're jumping on with this issue. It's worth it. Read Full Review
The first arc has concluded in a very strong way then, and left the book in a fascinating position moving forward. If you already read this book then you won't be disappointed by this issue. If you don't read this book then the trade comes out on July 30th. If you haven't already guessed, I highly recommend it. Read Full Review

It's rare that you feel you have no idea where a series will go next, and that's part of the high I get from Letter 44. I'm really excited to see the next one-shot issue, with art by Joelle Jones. Read Full Review
If you haven't jumped on Letter 44 yet, it's not too late to pick up issues 1-5 at your LCBS, or online in digital format. Both a political and a science fiction thriller, Letter 44 explores big questions about mankind. The trade won't release until July, but I wouldn't recommend waiting that long to check out this great series. Read Full Review
There's a great deal of catharsis to be found in the latest issue of Letter 44 by Charles Soule. Though there have only been six issues so far, much has happened to our cast of characters. Some are no longer with us, while new ones have appeared Read Full Review
Charles Soule's Letter 44 has been very strong up until this issue. However, the problems of this issue are too hard to ignore. Some of this could be attributed to treading water. Whereas every other issue of this series seemed to have an important change or event, this issue seemed to be about dialogue. I hope Letter 44 rights its course, because I think this series is an amazing concept. Plus I'm a sucker for political dramas, but if something worthy of the characters doesn't happen soon, I'm going to jump off the good spaceship Clarke soon. Read Full Review
