The Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa are starting strong! Moo Marshall is built as the perfect hero of this story, and the rest of the Boys get into the action later in the book. His relationship with Mary Quine is a strong one that plays on a relatable subject to us all. The Father figure, the mother, the teacher, and the coach are all roles that fit that dynamic and create a strong bond. Where we go next is all part of the mystery, and I can't wait to see it unfold! Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa #1 is proof that in the right hands, even the most obscure story can be interesting and in a world where Captain Planet and Space Ghost have incredible comics, that's a lesson more comic publishers should take to heart. Read Full Review

This is a very obscure property but if you've watched the original cartoon this is a very strong adaptation. An origin story for the central character "Moo Montana" it shows how he came to first visit Cowtown.

The artwork is very memorable and kinetic, the script is full of puns and is very tongue in cheek in a neat way. Its a solid read. And im looking forward to more.

I don’t want to trash this book … it’s clearly written for very little children and they deserve to have comics too, I just expected more, I also think that the target audience might be a little brighter than the writer is giving them credit for. I stopped reading at the staple.
