The Weekly Crisis - Matt Ampersand Oct 20, 2009

If I had to use one word to describe this book, it would be perfect. The harmony that the creators bring to this book makes it sing in every level. The only complaint I could possibly make is that now I must wait until 2010 for the next issue of The Stuff of Legend. Get this issue, and the previous ones, and the ones to come, you will not regret it at all. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Doug Zawisza Oct 20, 2009

Of all the titles I have reviewed for Comic Book Resources, this one has been the one I point back to the most when asked what book I enjoyed more than expected. It is densely packed with stunning artwork, innovative characters, and a sense of wonder not unlike the feeling induced by a first viewing of "The Wizard of Oz" or the opening of a much-anticipated birthday gift. I've been lucky enough to get my hands on the first two issues and eagerly await more. Read Full Review

I was hooked from the beginning. It's a mash-up of 'Toy Story' meets 'Pan's Labyrinth', with elements of Winnie the Pooh', 'Chronicles of Narnia','Indian in the Cupboard' and even 'Saving Private Ryan' mixed together. The result is an endearing tale of courage, love, betrayal, sacrifice, hope, doubt, and friendship enjoyed by the whole family. One of my top ten favorites.
