First published in the cult British kid's comic Oink! back in 1986, Psycho Gran is the psychotically demented brain-child of cartoonist and comic book editor, David Leach - winner of Channel Four's Come Dine With Me, editor and writer of the Wallace and Gromit newspaper strip and the Adventure Time comic magazine and editor of Roman Dirge's Lenore. David is also the co-creator of cult 1990's strip The Driver for British comic Toxic!

Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal
May 03, 2014Psycho Gran is a lot of fun. It reminded me of the first time I read MAD and how much fun that was. Again this series isn't going to be for everyone, but if you're down with the humor that I've described then you're going to enjoy reading Psycho Gran for sure. Read Full Review

Mar 28, 2014Psycho Gran pushed me into the Wayback Machine and returned me to the junior high days when I purchased the latest Archie comics whilst grocery shopping with my mom. Although to be fair, there's no way my mother would have let me buy another copy of Psycho Gran if she saw the pooping strip. I would have had to stash it with my Metallica cassettes. I bet I would have found all of it funny back then, too. Now that I'm a bit older, the slapstick still resonates with me (I'm never going to outgrow that), but I'm beyond enjoying poop and nonsensical humor. I wish Psycho Gran had more of the former than the latter. Read Full Review
