Considering Wolverine's death should be one of the most memorable Marvel comic book events in a long, long time, we expected far more from this. We expected a well crafted story, not a cheap cameo show with past guest stars. At least we know he'll end up dead. That's what's keeping us going, for now.

Ding dong, Wolvie is dead, at least for now. For a character who has been as beloved in the Marvel universe as Mr. Angrypants has, I can't believe they let him go in such a disappointing and lazy fashion. Then again, I suppose it's a disappointing end for a disappointing character. Oddly fitting.

After the rather abrupt ending of Nightwing and the overall disappointment of the New 52 Nightwing series, it would be a gross understatement to say I picked up Grayson cautiously. Apparently it took “killing” Dick to finally get him away from storylines revolving around his past and throw him into something interesting at last. I cannot wait to see where Tim Seeley takes both Dick Grayson and Spyral in this adventure. 

Okay Grayson, you have me hooked. I can't wait for next month, and I'm quite curious how this will all go down in the end.I'm terrified these little sweet moments are foretelling a very unhappy ending.

It's sad that it's taken so long for Dick Grayson to finally have a viable story outside of Teen Titans and Young Justice, but it's here, and it's in great hands.Bring on next month and that sweet, sweet LEGO Grayson cover that I know is coming.

Every month never ceases to amaze me how much better Dick Grayson's solo stories are when he's not chasing his past with his parents and Haley's Circus. Sure, he returned a bit to his Flying Grayson days, but at least it was all in fun and not some emo trip down memory lane.

So, uh, Tim, Tom, and Mikal? Can we get to the gay French acrobatics teacher next month? I don't think I can take another issue like this one so soon. I can't keep up the pretense to my family that I cut a lot of onions while reading comics for much longer.

In the end, we're left with death, traitors (are they?), and even more questions about loyalty that I hope to God get answered by the time this series runs its course. That's really all you can ask for a sci-fi political comic. Bet ya didn't know that Halo ran so deep!

I'm not entirely pleased with what I've read so far, but thankfully the Library from the first Halo game has given me the gift of patience when it comes to unfolding a Halo story. Just for the love of the Forerunners (oh, I have none for them), please get to the point soon.

It's been a bit of a downer that the Halo: Escalation series has been disappointing since the first two issues. It started off with so much promise, but then it spiraled into another clich. I continue to hope that the mind-blowing twist will enter stage left with the next couple of issues, but I'm afraid I'm setting myself up for further disappointment. Halo: Escalation #5 will release on April 23, 2014 at retail and digital download.

This story is over, but the comic is definitely not. I have no idea what the next issue could hold, as it could be so many things. I'll still be here, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel, eagerly anticipating what hot mess the UNSC will find itself in next month and how it will all relate to what the Halo series has in store for all of us.

Halo has done a great job at tapping into emotions in the past, but the timing was off this time. But maybe those who have a less stony heart than I will have all the feels. (Ugh I feel so dirty for writing “feels.”)

This could be one of my worst reviews yet, because I don't want to spoil anything past Master Chief's debriefing. All I can say is that you should be squealing with delight by page 10. If not, it means you didn't read a single book, and you won't know what's going on except for the parts that refer to events from Halo 4. If you didn't play Halo 4…yeah, you shouldn't be reading this comic series at all.

Halo: Escalation is still moving right along at its rather nice ESCALATINGplace. And according to the Dark Horse website, next month's issue won't be the last of the series, even though this arc will come to a close. It's still a good day to be a Halo fan.

Halo: Escalation continues to deliver, and it continues to be one of my favorite comics each month. I'm certain the reason is only half because I'm a diehard Halo fangirl. The other half is because it's brilliantly written and drawn.

If you haven't read any of the Halo: Escalation comics so far, the time to jump in is now with #11. This new arc promises to contain everything wonderful about Halo and Halo stories, and I have confidence they will be able to uphold that promise.

Mass Effect Foundation #8 releases February 26th at retail and for digital download at Dark Horse. Mass Effect fans, if you haven't bothered with this comic series yet, I don't know what you're waiting for. It's still a must read.

Even if you haven't enjoyed most of the Mass Effect: Foundation series up to this point, I cannot recommend picking up this issue enough. I may not have really ever used Mordin in my Mass Effect 2 party, but he was still one of my favorite characters. I was devastated at his death, and I'm thrilled to see a small part of him once again. Now if only I could get that song out of my head"

Issue #10 isn't the strongest issue in the series by far, but at the very least, we get to see a little bit of Kasumi in action"in more ways than one (baddum ksssh!). Mass Effect: Foundation #10 will release on April 23rd at retail and digital download. We only have three more issues to go before the series ends. Any votes or hopes for who will be featured next?

Even after seeing a little bit more of Zaeed, I'm still not a fan. At the same time, I couldn't help but be on the edge of my seat as I thumbed through how he was going to get out of this mess in one piece. But I suppose that's the tell-tale sign of damn good writing and art. Only two more issues to go in this Foundation series. Oh how I will miss it.

If you're a Thane fan, then Mass Effect: Foundation #12 has something special for you, but even if you're not, the story is still up to BioWare's caliber of storytelling, even if they were rather mean in dropping a bomb in the beginning and consequently sweeping it under the rug.

I'd still recommend Mass Effect: Foundation to any fan of the video game franchise. Maybe the underlying plot didn't hold too well in the end, but there is so much else with this series that brings plenty of joy.It's hard to ask for much more with a video game-based comic.

Psycho Gran pushed me into the Wayback Machine and returned me to the junior high days when I purchased the latest Archie comics whilst grocery shopping with my mom. Although to be fair, there's no way my mother would have let me buy another copy of Psycho Gran if she saw the pooping strip. I would have had to stash it with my Metallica cassettes. I bet I would have found all of it funny back then, too. Now that I'm a bit older, the slapstick still resonates with me (I'm never going to outgrow that), but I'm beyond enjoying poop and nonsensical humor. I wish Psycho Gran had more of the former than the latter.

Fans of SAMCRO, you owe it to yourself to check out this comic series, especially this second story arc. Even though I know this drama with the Russians worked itself out before Putlova took a few in the chest, I'm still on the edge of my seat reading how they get through this.

Am I going to keep reading? Of course I am, because I have to see where this goes and if it improves. It could definitely get better, and it's possible it will tie into the TV show in a matter other than simply using Jax and crew. But this first foray into the arc is slower than the start of season 3 of the show.

With Sons of Anarchy season 7 just around the corner, this new arc in the comic has gotten me quite ready for the show. I need to remember, especially after season 3, that sometimes Sons of Anarchy takes a few to rev up and really hit home. The comic is obviously no different.

So yes, well done DC Comics New 52, you've sucked me in to another comic series. I'm coasting on nostalgia fumes so far, but I have hopes that I'll be rewarded in the end. If nothing else, I've been treated to gorgeous, gorgeous artwork.

The latest Teen Titans series hasn't won me over yet, but I'm doing my best to remember that this is only the second issue. Surely this is all leading to somewhere grand. Until then, I'll enjoy the droolworthy art. I need more Rocafort in my life, apparently.

Whether or not Rocafort returns, this is still a rather entertaining super hero comic series. It has the ideal formula down pat: action when needed, humor, a bit of seriousness, and super powers. Really, what more could you want from a super hero comic (other than maybe some romance in the future)?

The Witcher comic series is a must-read for The Witcher fans, especially any who are as disappointed as I am with the delay of the third game. It will satisfy any Geralt cravings until the very last page. Then you'll want to chuck the book or your e-reader across the room. (Don't throw your e-reader across the room.) It releases on March 19, 2014 in retail and via digital download.

The Witcher continues to impress, prevailing as one of the best video game tie-in comics going on. In addition, it simultaneously alleviates the pain of the next game's delay while making the delay all the more painful. However, the most painful part is knowing I have to wait another month to learn more about this evil house.

It's probably too much to ask for every single issue of a comic series to be absolutely riveting. The occasional one will flop or be nothing but an exposition set-up for the rest of the plot. The Witcher #3 is definitely not the best of the series so far, but I'm hopeful that what it leads up to will be completely worth it.The Witcher #3 releases on May 21, 2014 at retail and via digital download.

The Witcher comic series continue to be intense, suspenseful, and befuddling all at the same time. It's exactly why I've enjoyed The Witcher franchise so much since first delving into it. I told every The Witcher fan I met at E3 that this comic series is the best video game comic on the market right now, and I continue to stand by that statement.The Witcher #4 releases on June 18th at retail and digital download.

I am honestly very sad to see The Witcher comic series come to an end, especially since the next video game will not release until 2015. At the very least, it ended well and left me with zero questions and clamoring for more, more, more! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that this was just a test of the waters from CD Projekt Red and Dark Horse, and another story arc will start up soon, becausesurely this run was successful.

For better or for worse, I'm interested in seeing how this series goes down, especially if it ties into the next video game. Of course there's going to be a next video game from Crystal Dynamics.

Gail Simone has written some amazing comic stories, but thus far, Tomb Raider is not one of them. For the series' sake, I hope the comic either picks up or wraps up very soon. I also hope that the next Tomb Raider game is not about the Yamatai. Tomb Raider #3 is available on April 23, 2014 at retail and digital download.

I'm still waiting for the twist, for the big reveal that will make this series all worth it. Maybe I'm expecting too much since I adored the game. I didn't want the comic to follow along the game's story so closely; have a different plot that had nothing to do with Yamatai or the Solarii. Perhaps the only way to do that for future games and comics is to kill off everyone. Time will tell, I suppose.Tomb Raider #4 will release on May 28, 2014 via retail and digital download.

According to the Dark Horse website, the comic will run at least three more issues. I can only hope this arc wraps up quickly and maybe a new, better arc will begin, one that has its own distinct story from the recent video game. Just please, no more Yamatai; no more Sun Queen.

Thank God this arc is over, and I'm ready to welcome the next story with open arms. I still have a smidgen of faith that the Tomb Raider comic series can be great despite this awful start. There is so much potential with Lara Croft, I sincerely hope this potential isn't squandered in the comics.

I don't want to quit this comic, I really don't. Just like why Jen returns to Resident Evil each time, I keep coming back hoping that this issue will improve. No, maybe this one. This one. This one! I know I say this every month, but maybe next issue will clarify the situation and improve. Or maybe I just need to ditch the wine and switch to tequila after reading each issue.

I'm just happy I don't hate an issue of Tomb Raider for once. I want more issues like this, that stay away from the Solarii, but have enough ties to the Tomb Raider game reboot to flow well. I sincerely hope the writers and artists can keep it going at this pace.

This arc has been a bit of a confusing rollercoaster to say the least. All I can do is hope that this entertaining tale goes somewhere and that somewhere leads to tombs to raid. Or at least artifacts these killers are trying to protect. But mostly tombs. It's in the title, after all.

I'm definitely ready to walk across this dirt the writers have shoveled in to connect these two arcs. But why, why do I have a sneaking suspicion that the next step is going to take place on opening night? I suppose they could turn this into an impromptu production of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.Tomb Raider #11 will release on December 24, 2014.
