this issue was very exposition heavy, but a necessary one.
we finally finally get a BIG reveal as to why Takeo and his brother Akio have been marked for death since childhood.
we are also filled in on the history of their parents.
there's one particular flashback scene that takes place long before the events of this series start. it introduces up to Takeo's father and it is truly an amazing scene.
i'll never look as Sushi the same ever again!!
there were also nice character moments in this issue. a scene with Takeo's Monk friend, i busted out laughing while reading it.
someone coming into this series at this point would more than likely be lost. but for readers who has been along for this journey si more+ Like • Comment
