Overall, while the premise ofThe Way of Shao Volume 1 initially grabbed my attention, after reading it, I just don't think this is a manga for me. The premise is interesting as it blends action, martial arts, and music together, but I think that hurts it. The first volume feels more like an extended one-shot than a full volume story.
