Both of these movies bring back found memories of a young man starting a career in animation and special effects, but the big question for these movies is do they have the staying power? Over the last couple of weeks, I've watched both of these films multiple times, not because I continue to notice new and subtle elements each and every time, but because both of these films are major favorites of my two-year-old. The kid will sit and watch these films back to back and giggle with glee during the funny moments, he'll recite along with Buzz Lightyear each time he says, "To infinity, and beyond!", and has even started to sing along with You've Got a Friend in Me. If Disney and Pixar can create a film that has that kind of an impact on a guy pushing 40, and a kid nearing the third year of his life, then that's the definition of magic in a bottle. Toy Story and Toy Story 2 deserve a place of honor in your movie collection as both earn solid 5 out of 5 Stars. Read Full Review
