Gears of War the comic isn't quite the failure many recent videogame adaptations have been, but nor does it do much to convince readers they should put down the Xbox controller and pick up a book. Besides featuring some inherently wooden characters, the book is hopelessly sandwiched between two games, limiting its creative potential. And with the second game having been on store shelves for almost a year now, it becomes harder and harder to determine what purpose this series hopes to accomplish. Read Full Review
