Coming back to those original two questions - yes, the writers managed to fit Serpentor into their grounded G.I. Joe universe. What they haven't managed to do yet is elevate the villain in the same way they have so many others. This arc has plenty of time to truly establish Serpentor and Scoop as major players in this world. With any luck, connection to previous storylines will begin to surface as well. Whatever happens, I fear the art will be the true bane of this story arc unless changes are made. Read Full Review
