The art is still a disappointment, sadly. Sergio Carrera's art is too flat and simplistic. The colors do nothing to help, often slathering characters and backgrounds with identical mottled textures. Somewhat more easy on the eyes are the numerous watercolor pages that detail the mythology driving Serpentor's cult. The problem here is that the writers alternate one page of mythology with every one page of story. In the end, the reader may not feel as if they were given a full month's worth of material. All things considered, this issue marks a steady rise in quality. But this still isn't the G.I. Joe: Cobra I've come to love over the past year. Read Full Review
