  I've got a thing for supporting indie books, and when you see something like Across Thin Ice, you can tell it's going to explode at Comic-Con. The book is exciting, funny, and one of the best drawn indie books I've ever seen. While I'm tempted to suggest you wait until the second Nordguard book to get a bigger chunk of story, the sad fact is that these books don't get sequels unless people buy them. Thankfully Across Thin Ice is engrossing enough and pretty enough to warrant a look, even if it's a pretty big cocktease. Read Full Review
