Voodoo naturally got a lot of grief when it started because of its art style and highly sexualized nature, but it's something that does go back to the core of the characters original introduction in the nineties. Basri just takes it to a whole other level of beauty here, working it just right not only in the dancing side of the book but also with the action. I really enjoyed the book when I started in the singles and reading it all in one sitting here makes for a very enjoyable read that gives us a good blending of science fiction alien invasion stories and superheroes as well as all the government aspects as well. The first volume is a very good setup and I'm excited to see where the second volume goes when that eventually lands. Read Full Review
