As a matter of face, I think the quote from the afterword, “maybe I'm shooting for a B+ movie”, kinda tells you everything you need to know about this book. It is not AAA material, and if you expect that from it, you're not going to like it. What it is, is a silly, impossible story with mixed metaphors and half-statements meant to get you to think, but not too deeply, because above all, it just wants to thrill you for a while.
