    In the end Crossing Midnight is an amazing idea that isn't being fully realized. I think that's a shame. It's my understanding that this series suffers from some incredibly low sales. As odd as this sounds, I'd rather people pick up this "decent" book than many of the better superhero titles out there. Originality needs to be rewarded in this industry, even if things don't work out perfectly. Read Full Review

    Being a words guy myself, the artwork is not enough to convince me to drop this title. Ive always been a fan of Careys work, and the mixture of themes (supernatural, mythological, and societal) that he presents in Crossing Midnight is compelling enough to keep me hooked for the foreseeable future. Plus, with the cliffhanger at the end of this issue, fans of the series know that we are about to reach a crossroads that will define all future events to come. Alas, its a shame I have so few fellow readers to share my excitement with. Read Full Review
