Oct 08, 2007I am not a news hound in any sense of the word, whether its world, local, or comic-related news. I dont know how sudden the cancellation of Deadman came about, but all I can tell you is that this was an ignoble, speedy resolution for a story that, albeit confusing and convoluted, deserved an ending that wasnt neatly packaged and scented. Vertigo, Bruce Jones, and John Watkiss should be ashamed of themselves for putting together this final issue in a fashion that insults devoted Vertigo fans like myself.
