The quiet town of Eugene has suddenly gotten very loud. Gwen and her friends have their hands full when a whole mess of zombies roams the streets, but these aren't nice and cuddly zombies like Gwen. And when the Dead Presidents get to town, things get really complicated. Meanwhile, just what has Galatea been making from all of those dead bodies she's been stitching together down in her secret lab?

Jul 06, 2011I've told many folks that iZombie has one of the best artistic teams in creator-owned comics in Mike Allred, Laura Allred, and Todd Klein. Month in and month out, this trio delivers some of the freshest visuals in comics, and iZombie #15 does nothing to change that. Allred's smooth and precise inks punctuate the issue as always, with Laura Allred's colors providing a vivid, glossy finish to each and every page that works perfectly with the ink work. Again, Allred gets to have some fun with zombie killing action as Horatio blows some heads off; action hasn't been seen much in iZombie until recently, and Allred's appreciation of it shows. Comic Book Resources - Greg McElhatton
Jul 07, 2011I'm still not entirely certain what's going on in the "Dead Presidents" back-up (although it looks like it, too, might be converging with the main storyline shortly), but when you draw characters as nifty looking as Allred, it's hard to find yourself worrying too much.
