"Knuckle Up" concludes with an epic confrontation that SCALPED readers have been waiting a long time to see. It's Dash vs. Shunka in a battle for the ages and if you think you know how it's all going to end, trust us, you don't.

    I can see the argument that this issue goes by too quickly for such an important event. However, when you think of how long all of this has been building up I was actually pleased to see everything get resolved so swiftly. Nothing is held back in this issue. There are plenty of questions that linger from the issue's ending but there are still five issues left so I expect more bloodshed to occur. This is one of the very best issues in this series and I can't wait to see how Aaron ends this series. Read Full Review

    "Knuckle Up" is a story arc that's pushed a lot of characters towards the end of the series and no issue does more of that than this one. The fight between Dash and Shunka is a definitive one and, somehow, isn't the biggest, most surprising part of this issue. This is one of those mythical 'nothing is the same' issues that publishers promise often and rarely deliver upon. Drawn by anyone, this would be a good comic, but, in the hands of R.M. Gura, it's a great one, one that ensures that "Scalped" makes many 'best of 2012' lists already. Read Full Review

    We'd been waiting for this fight for nearly 40 issues now, and it was pretty much what we've wanted. Plus, big events in other facets of the story. The only thing holding this issue back was the muddy coloring that stole some of the magic from that fight. Read Full Review
