The most important goal of THE UNWRITTEN – APOCALYPSE (if I can make such a claim) is to wrap up the story of Tom Taylor and his friends in epic and satisfying fashion, and issue #3 is yet another clear indication that Carey and Gross have truly saved the best for last. This really is shaping up to be a wonderful final volume of the series and it leaves me eagerly anticipating the next chapter each and every month. This is storytelling at its finest, folks. Weird Science - Jim Werner Jun 23, 2014

The Unwritten - Apocalypse #3 is a dense, mysterious and awesome issue. Mike Carey makes you work for your meal, but in the end it's well worth it. Peter Gross' art tells the story just as much as the words on the pages his awesome drawings inhabit. If you are looking for a mature and literate title, this is the one you should be reading. Highly Recommended. Read Full Review
