Nov 21, 2020This volume is a little bit of filler in between two story arcs, and those are always a bit frustrating to read. I did appreciate the spotlight on some of the other heroes and them building their confidence, especially Yaoyorozu (pictured prominently on this cover), who has been sort of a background character without a lot of confidence. In her trial, she has to stand up to Todoroki, and she ends up having some really great ideas about how to win against Eraser Head, who can wipe out your power by looking at you. I've been promised by colleagues and students that the next arc that I'm getting into is really rewarding, so on to the next volume. Read Full Review
