It's narratives like this one that make me wish that Shojo Beat offered a service akin the Shonen Jump App with simulpublication of individual chapters. The Graphic Library - Sara Campbell
Nov 09, 2020This series is really growing on me. I’m only thrown off ever so slightly by Freya’s tactical knowledge and planning, given her farming background and lack of substantive training as a prince. Though, every once in a while, her country-bumpkin knowledge serves her well, and she goes back to being that endearing young girl from a tiny village. Her growth into a confident, brave person is interesting to watch, although I fear that she is losing her softer, feminine edges. It is often easy to forget that she is not a boy character.
